Speaking Engagements

I am delighted to speak and lead discussions on a variety of mental health and wellness topics for schools, organizations, professional groups, and community audiences. My presentations combine clinical expertise with practical strategies that participants can use immediately in their lives.

As a therapist and educator with more than two decades of experience, I create engaging, thoughtful conversations that help people better understand emotional well-being, communication, and resilience.

Many organizations invite me to speak on topics related to anxiety, burnout, and stress management counseling. My goal is to help individuals and teams recognize challenges early and develop healthier ways to cope.

Presentation Topics

I regularly speak on topics including:

  • Healthy Relationships
  • Anxiety: What It Is and How to Manage It
  • Stress Management Counseling and Emotional Resilience
  • The Transition from High School to College
  • Burnout: Prevention, Recognition, and Recovery

These discussions are designed to reduce stigma around mental health while offering clear, realistic tools participants can use in everyday situations.

Workplace & Professional Development Topics

In workplace settings, I help teams navigate challenges that affect productivity/communication, and overall well-being; popular presentations include:

  • How to Manage Difficult People
  • Working from Home and Finding Balance
  • Burnout: Preventing, Identifying, and Recovering
  • Intergenerational Staff Dynamics

Organizations often find that conversations around mental health improve collaboration, reduce workplace stress, and support healthier professional environments.

How I Approach Speaking Engagements

My speaking style is conversational, warm, and interactive. Rather than lecture-based presentations, I encourage discussion and reflection so participants feel comfortable engaging. Drawing on my background in hospitals, emergency settings, community mental health, and college counseling centers, I bring real-world insights to each topic while keeping presentations accessible to all.

Sessions can include:

  • Educational discussions
  • Practical coping strategies
  • Audience questions
  • Scenario-based learning
  • Tailored recommendations for your organization or group

Who These Presentations Are For

Speaking engagements can be adapted for:

  • Schools and universities
  • Parent organizations
  • Healthcare professionals
  • Corporate teams and leadership groups
  • Community organizations and nonprofits

Whether the focus is student well-being or stress management counseling, presentations are customized to match the goals and needs of each audience.
